Deciduous trees embrace change, even when it's hard. Deeply rooted, they bend in storms, stand tall in the sun, release what is needed, hibernate with care, and come back to life with vibrance.
Why Deciduous?
Meet Teressa
Hello there! I'm Teressa (treh-suh).

I never really know what to write here, to be honest. I am both a fully licensed and trained trauma psychotherapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner but I think instead of trying to sell you on me I'm going to tell you this: I've done a lottt of my own healing work over the years (and continue to do so) and the most important thing I deeply believe to be true about both me and you is this: there are places inside of our body and our spirits that are whole, wise, and wired for healing.

There is hope. There are ways forward and the irony in that statement is that the way forward as I see it is ultimately a returning, a remembering, a (re)connecting to our Selves. We'll also learn practices and tools because insight is great but without some practical skill development we might end up feeling a little stuck in the spinning of "I can CLEARLY SEE it all, why can't I CHANGE anything?!?" (Where my fellow intellectualizers at?)
You are not alone in this, and every part of you is welcome here.
